Currently, units operating on major mining and tunnelling infrastructure projects within British Columbia. RDO has established RDO Equipment Canada ULC to help service and support Grydale mobile dust collection equipment across Canada.

RDO now has fourteen mobile dust collection units in the USA/Canada fleet. Units include 20,000 CFM to 60,000 CFM international patented track-mounted dust collectors. The tracks allow units to move alongside dust-generating equipment such as roadheaders, trenchers, surface miners, profilers, hydraulic hammers and other excavators to collect dust at the source. The diesel motor powering the centrifugal fan means there is no requirement for an external power supply, plus the compact footprint allows units to be easily transported and operational in a very short period of time with limited set-up requirements.

RDO also has electric-powered skid-mounted units, from 12,000 CFM to 40,000 CFM. These units were originally developed to provide dust control at the source during excavation of cross passages in tunnel construction and can be used within a wide range of applications.

“With dust control regulations being enforced, companies are looking for an effective and immediate dust control solution to keep operations going. Having units in the country available for purchase and rental is key to providing an immediate solution,” said Gregg Herdina, Product Manager, RDO Equipment Co.
