Great to see our Grydale® JMS-30-MDT providing effective dust control alongside A J Gammond Ltd Rock Hawg on the M4 Smart Motorway project in the UK. Providing dust control at the source allows the use of powerful excavation equipment such as the Rock Hawg Surface Miner to generate significant production efficiencies and operational cost savings while controlling the harmful and potentially hazardous dust.

Diona – JMS 20 M-Series Managing Silica Dust at Greenbank Sewer Rising Main Project

The Greenbank Sewer Rising Main project was undertaken by Diona in November 2019, for the Logan Water Infrastructure Alliance and involved the installation of 5.6 kilometres of sewer rising main pipeline. They hired a JMS-20-MDT (Diesel, Track) dust collector from Grydale Rental to manage the silica dust created as a result of trenching through sandstone. Any excavation works that involve sandstone, always post a significant dust and health issue for workers regardless of the excavation method utilised. Green Civil – Managing Dust alongside T1055 Trencher in Sydney

In February 2020, Green Civil rented a JMS-20-MDT from Grydale Rental to work alongside a Vermeer Trencher to manage the dust creating from completing trenching work in Sydney. There were strict requirements for dust control as the work site was close to a child care centre and Ansto nuclear facility and the combination of the T1055 Trencher and the Grydale JMS-20-MDT offered a very effective solution in extremely dry and windy conditions.
